Descripción del puesto

Our client, an European property company is looking for a Retail Manager based in Madrid.

His/her mission will be supervise, maintain and follow up the policies and procedures of the management area in the assigned regions, in accordance with the management strategy in order to guarantee the compliance with the company standards and the volume and profitability objectives defined for the assigned region.

The key responsibilities are to be the main reference at the regional level in the area of Retail Management for clients, establishing strong relationships of trust and collaboration with them; coordinate and supervise the work of the members of the Retail Department in the regional level achieving the best results in their performance; supervise and maintain the procedures and tools of Retail Management in the assigned regions, with the purpose of detecting possible deviations and proposing actions plans that result in the correct decision-making.

Collaborate with the department of Leasing, Visual Merchandising and Marketing in your region developing joint strategies in order to achieve the best results from agreements with customers.; supervise the preparation and execution of the overall sales budget in assigned region, in order to ensure a coherent budget to facilitate the detection of deviations and establishment the appropriate corrective measures. Monitor the sales of the stores of the centers in your region, detecting deviations and defining the corrective measures to be adopted in each case, in order to guarantee and ensure compliance with the stipulated objects.

To monitor the Retail Management dashboards of your region, analysing the qualitative and quantitative information contained therein, in order to be permanently informed of the evolution of the business, as well as to identify possible deviations and propose an action plan for the resolution of them. Supervising the centres under their responsibility, as well as advising them to possible incidents as a reference in the field of Retail Management, with the dual purpose of providing their own experience of their position as well as facilitate the achievement of the objectives of the company and its centers.

Collaborate with the Vindication Department and also with the Asset Management Department in conducting the sales audits, in order to guarantee the profitability resulting from the operations carried out between the company and the tenants and at last, identify the best practices of the market in the field of Retail Management, as well as propose the incorporation of new procedures or tools to the protocols of action with the purpose of contributing to the best positioning of the company.

Perfil

The profile we are requiring must have Bachelor’s degree, master or similar, fluent level of English and Spanish; other languages are valued. Must have seven years of experience in management in Retail and Fashion companies or as Retail Manager in Shopping Centers companies and have international experience.

Other requirements are Geographical mobility and punctually long stays abroad.
