JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Product Information Management or "PIM" is a process & software that centralizes and streamlines the management of product data and content across an organization.

It serves as a single source of truth for all product-related information, including descriptions, specifications and other marketing or technical content.

PIM systems ensure accurate and consistent information ready to be used in all sales, marketing, customer support and digital catalogs.

As a Business Process Owner of this compass top priority product your main goal will be to ensure the possible integration and categorisation of 100% of references sold in Veepee via the target tools.

Your role will be to think out of the box implementing new disruptive ideas on how we integrate data & ensure its quality in Veepee by challenging for example the possibility to implement for flash sales campaigns the Brandsplace integration model.

On a daily basis you will have to coordinate with POs, Managers, key-users, other BPOs to follow-up on the progress and deliveries of new projects.

As the PIM is a core product, the position will require you to have a transversal approach on all topics and a deep understanding of the company processes (from Sourcing to Finance and Logistics).

TASKS
  • Defining and streamlining PIM processes: the Business Process Owner is responsible for establishing and continually improving the processes related to PIM. This includes defining processes, data governance, and the organization's standards for managing product information. He is a key participant to help define the Data Integration vision through the company by benchmarking other businesses such as brandplaces and challenging the input management at Veepee in its globality.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: The PIM Business Process Owner works closely with various departments (such as marketing, sales, IT, and logistics) to identify their product information needs and develop strategies to meet those needs effectively (AGEC law, ADR, packs integration etc.)
  • Data quality and accuracy: Ensuring the quality and accuracy of product information is a key responsibility of a PIM Business Process Owner. They set data quality standards and monitor the data mainly through NGPs to maintain high levels of quality.
  • Change management and user adoption: The PIM Business Process Owner leads change management initiatives that are related to PIM, helping the organization adopt new processes and systems seamlessly while minimizing disruptions.
  • Analyzing and optimizing PIM performance: As a Business Process Owner, it's essential to monitor, analyze, and optimize the performance of the PIM processes and systems. This responsibility includes tracking KPIs (NGP processes, breaking changes, conformity rates, productivity of integration, AI integration etc.) and developing strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase user satisfaction (CODA, Quality controllers, Data and Content managers etc.)
  • In summary, the PIM Business Process Owner plays an essential role in managing all aspects of product information within the organization while ensuring full adoption of the ARLET plan (100% of product data integrated and mapped through Scalia and PIM)
