DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Daily data entry of new orders into the system. After order is placed, send relative shipping instructions to manufacturers. Review shipping requirements with new manufacturers.
Follow up on orders to make sure there are no problems with manufacturers for delivery or forwarding of samples. Inform team members of any scheduling changes or problems. Communicate these changes to TJX merchandise groups and make any required changes in the system. Check the system "I. Move" to see if any requested changes have been carried out by TJX buyer assistants and intervene if required to make sure merchandise is sent without discrepancies.
Oversee the flow of sample merchandise in and out of the office for assigned orders. Check the shipping bill of the samples and prepare customs paperwork in order to send samples abroad or to manufacturers.
Assist market representatives or staff with the preparation of trips, booking hotels, cars and keep a check on the logistics of the trip.
May be involved in business travelling based on Company's needs.
