Responsible for Design and Development for your dedicated customers/accounts as allocated by the head of Sales. To build your customer relationships to help stimulate opportunities and achieve and exceed monthly and yearly sales targets with your dedicated Account Manager. Focus on the relationship with your Account Manager; agree approach and drive out a clear strategy.

•Liaison with Designers (D)
•Liaison as required with relevant Account Manager (AM)
•Liaison as required with relevant Retailer
Seasonal Trend- Present seasonal trends to AM utilising WGSN/ Blogs/ Catwalk/street trend and other media influences- to interpret and ‘tailor’ all the trend / seasonal, and catwalk reports produced by Design into your customers colour palettes
•Customer focus- Ensure you maintain customer critical buying dates. This should include awareness of customer ranges/RP/CP and required updates of best sellers. It is your responsibility to know your customers current range, exit and entry price points and to have a clear strategy on how to carry the account forward in terns of growth and point of difference.
•Customer developments-Specific customer developments should be communicated clearly via CAD presentation that meet price requirements and within the required lead-time. You must be able to understand both commercial expectations and restraints for each customer and translate through ideas to hit price/design and trend. All your ranges are always to be signed off with your account manager before going into sampling and ‘built and planned’ together with your sales team from the beginning of the process.
• Communication and Specifications - Weekly liaison with your AM, where they highlight any scheduled tasks for the previous week and planning for the coming week. Clear visual/detailed communication to factories through specs and email needs to allow for sampling to be right first time.
•Customer meetings-to help prepare for and attend customer meetings both at the Edge studio and at Retailer offices. Support sales through trend/design and market knowledge and response to previous meeting notes and actions. Prepare targeted product in advance of the appointment that fits customer profile and target margin. Be fully prepared to present catwalk and in house design report to your customers, take detailed design briefs and agreed sample deadlines in meetings.
•Conduct Quarterly Sales meeting- Attend meeting with MD, SD and DD to discuss performance to date and sales and design strategies to meet existing and forward requirements. Present, highlight issues and initiatives with your AM to meet sales target; it is important for you to have prepared fully for this meeting and have an opinion or ideas to contribute to support the sales teams.
•Conduct weekly Design meeting - Identify key trend direction relevant to your Edge customer base and communicate through trend meetings to the Sales Team to meet development schedules. Conduct regular comp shops and feedback either in the monthly trend meeting or via email to all sales and design team members.
•Conduct Far East travel- Produce a comprehensive and coordinated trend and design package with relevant colour palette and styling for the next season for development for your dedicated customers on regular Far East trips. These trips are to drive out new season product as well as specific customer trends. Factory development trips are there to drive sales and future development.
High knwoledge of trends and fashion industry. Specially accessories and jewellery.
High level of Spanish and English is mandatory.
